What do the LABC Building Excellence Awards Celebrate?
Our awards look for:
Technical excellence - this is our overriding concern, (although we appreciate aesthetics it is not our primary judging criteria.
Innovation - especially in finding new solutions, using new thinking, techniques or products.
Green and sustainable building quality - these days we think this should be an integral part of any project.
Good team working with building control taking part in the development team process.
High performance - this could include anything from accessibility, thermal performance to acoustic solutions.
Problem solving- we enjoy finding examples of sites with creative solutions to difficult issues. This could be anything from mine workings or contamination through to change of use of notable or listed buildings.
Before making your entry please read our judging criteria.
Make an entry now, there is no cost to enter and the form makes it really easy.
